Privacy
The short version: we keep your email address if you give it to us, and nothing else about you. Here is the longer version.
The website
refestramus.com is a static site served by Cloudflare. We run no server and no database, and we set no cookies. Cloudflare sees your IP address to deliver the pages, as any host does, and keeps aggregate traffic counts; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for what it does with them.
The site remembers one thing in your browser: which language you chose, if you used the English/Spanish switch. That stays on your device.
Some pages embed players from Bandcamp, Spotify and YouTube. When one of those loads, that company may set its own cookies under its own policy.
The mailing list
Our mailing list runs on MailerLite. When you sign up we store your email address, your first name if you gave it, the date, and which form you used, so we know whether you came from the website, a podcast, an ad or a planetarium. Signups from the planetarium film also store a short code for the venue where you saw it, never your seat or anything about you.
Every signup is double opt-in: nothing is stored until you click the link in the confirmation email. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from that list.
We use the list to tell you about new music, shows and the occasional offer. We do not sell, rent or share it.
The signup forms use Google reCAPTCHA to keep bots out, which is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms.
Ads
The pages reached from our paid ads use the Meta pixel on their thank-you page only, so Meta can count a completed signup. Nothing on the rest of the site reports to Meta.
The planetarium pages
The page behind the QR code at the end of the Storms dome film sends us anonymous events, such as “page opened” and “listen button tapped”, tagged with the venue's code so we can tell venues which showings reached people. The events carry no cookie, no identifier of yours and no IP address.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, have it corrected or have it deleted. If you are in the EU or the UK you have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone. Email us and we will act within a few days.
